Running Robo-FTP

The focal point of Robo-FTPs design centers around the running of script files. Robo-FTP can be used interactively but the user interface is oriented to the development and testing of script files.

 

Script commands may be entered, edited, and executed from within Robo-FTP’s console window. But, typically you will use the interactive capabilities of Robo-FTP only as necessary to create the script file(s) you need, and then create one or more shortcuts to launch the program running one of these script files.

 

The following example shows Start menu and desktop shortcuts that launch Robo-FTP running a script file named ‘ScriptIntro.s’:
