User accounts are required for FTP and SFTP clients to connect to your server. To create an account, click the button labeled New to display the User Settings dialog. To edit an existing account, select the account in the list and click the Edit button. You can delete individual users by selecting the account and clicking the Remove button. Note that removing an account will not affect the contents of the individual user's home directory.
Checkboxes under the FTP and SFTP columns on this page allow you to quickly enable or disable access for a particular user by protocol without needing to open the Add / Edit User dialog.
