Manual licensing activation requires two steps. First, you must submit a license activation request (Step 1). If your request is successful you will receive a license activation site key. Secondly, you must enter the license activation site key to activate the software (Step 2).

The following steps are for Version 3.5.0 and newer.

Step 1:

Select 'Activate License...' from the Help menu to begin the activation process.

Choose 'activate my Robo-FTP license manually', and click 'OK'.

Choose 'submit a manual license activation request', and click 'OK'.

Complete all fields, including the correct Serial Number for which you wish to activate and the details for why you are requesting the activation, i.e. initial activation, moving to new computer, etc. Click 'Continue'.

Manual Activation Request Options - The software provides three options for submitting a manual activation request.

1. E-mail -

If you choose this option, the software will open a new e-mail containing the activation request information using your default email client.

2. Fax -

If you choose this option, the software will send the activation request information to the default printer for this machine so you can fax the request.

3. Other computer -

If you choose this option, the software will save the activation request information to a text file. You can then copy this file to another computer to e-mail, or print and fax.

Choose the option that best suits your needs.

Step 2:

You must enter the serial number and activation site key to complete the activation.

The serial number is provided by email when you purchase a license. If you received a paper invoice then the serial number should appear in it as well.

All activation requests are processed in the order in which they are received. The site key is provided to you by email or fax. To obtain a license activation site key, you must first submit an activation request form. See Step 1.

Select 'Activate License...' from the Help menu.

Choose 'activate my Robo-FTP license manually', and click 'OK'.

Choose 'enter license activation site key', and click 'OK'.

Enter the serial number for which you wish to activate and enter your new site key. It is recommended to cut and paste to these fields.
